DAVID GARNER – MANAGING DIRECTOR
David is the founder and managing director of Lawyers Escrow Company and has over twenty-five years of experience in the escrow business. Previously, David was president of Charter Escrow Company, Inc., which he purchased in 1995 and grew into the largest independent escrow company in the state of Texas before selling to outside investors in 2001. He is also a leading instructor of business transactions to professional intermediaries and business brokers across the country, for which he received Instructor of the Year in 1999 by both the International Association of Business Brokers and the Texas Association of Business Brokers. At Lawyers Escrow Company, David utilizes his previous experience to provide smooth business transaction solutions and escrow services.
SUSAN GARNER, CPA – TRANSACTION ACCOUNTING
Susan has an accounting degree from Baylor University, and is a Certified Public Accountant. She began her career at Peat Marwick, now KPMG, as an auditor for large privately held companies in the oil and gas, cable, and financial services industry. She remained in public accounting for over 12 years, and specialized in providing attest services to small businesses. With over twenty years of experience in the accounting and business industry, her skills allow her to focus on escrow services and business transactions by working closely with brokers, lenders, and their professional advisors.
VIOLET L. OBRIEN – BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS AND CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
Violet graduated from LeTourneau University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She began her career in the title insurance industry and in the legal field where she gained extensive experience in the areas of business, civil, real estate, and oil and gas law. Violet spent 13 years in information technology consulting and business development. Before joining Lawyers Escrow Company full-time, Violet owned her own business for nineteen years. In her capacity as a business owner, she worked consistently with Lawyers Escrow since 2014. She brings extensive business knowledge and the ability to contribute to a smooth closing experience for Brokers, Buyers, and Sellers.
